Brewers Win! 6-4! - Fielder Gets Even! PLUS: Fantastic Musical Tribute!

Yesterday, after JJ Hardy went yard to blow the game open for the Brewers, the Bucs pitcher Matt Capps came in high and tight hitting fielder in the elbow

Or Capps went head-hunting and threw right at Fielder's head.

Just sayin'.

So what did Fielder do about it? Well, he waited until today and proceeded to hit a home run on each of his first two at-bats, while on his third at-bat he hit it to the wall in right field barely missing a third home run.

Ho Hum. Another Dinger. Or Two!

Uh huh.

And then it got interesting.

Ben Sheets was percolating along through six innings with the help of a 4-0 lead and then it happened, a lead-off walk in the seventh.

Sheets proceeded to melt down allowing the pitiful Pirates back into the game, surrendering a two-run homer to a slumping Chris Duffy.

Very Good, Almost Great.

Unfortunately, the usually stellar Matt Wise and Brian Shouse didn't help much, allowing the Pirates to tie it at 4-4.

In the bottom of the eighth, Fielder led off and singled sharply into right, practically falling over he swung so hard.

Johnny Estrada advanced Fielder to second and then Tony Graffanino flied out making way for Bill Hall to dramatically drive Fielder in with a single to center. Duffy threw home and Fielder just barely eluded Ryan Doumit's tag.

Can't Touch This!

After he scored Fielder lit it up.

He pumped his fists and yelled at Duffy.

It was great to see.

Intense emotion.

Intense drive.

Intense desire.

Yes.

Lead by Example.

For such a young man Prince Fielder already has the makings of a Great Champion.

And did I mention JJ Hardy?
